Book a General Waste Skip Bin

Household rubbish, old furniture, packaging and office waste go in a Shelby Skips general waste skip bin. Garden waste can go in with it too. It costs $310 for a 2m, up to $860 for an 8m, GST included (prices last checked 04/10/2026). That includes delivery anywhere in Brisbane's northside, Moreton Bay and the Sunshine Coast, and pick-up a week later. The weight limit is 400kg on a 2m, up to 1,600kg on an 8m. Going over costs $27.50 per 100kg, GST included.

What can't go in a general waste bin?

No concrete, soil, ceramic tiles, hardwood, food, tyres, paint, gas bottles, asbestos or anything flammable. An empty paint tin that has dried out is fine.

What about renovation waste?

Renovation waste goes in mixed and heavy instead. With no tiles, hardwood, soil, concrete or carpet in it, a light construction bin costs less.
