A 3m general waste skip bin from Shelby Skips costs $360 across Brisbane's northside, Moreton Bay and the Sunshine Coast, GST included (prices last checked 04/10/2026). Green waste is $350, clean fill $370, concrete and brick $370, light construction $460, and mixed and heavy $545. Each price is for a week, filled to the weight limit, and we deliver and pick up. The 3m measures 2.4m long, 1.5m wide and 0.9m high, and takes about 12 wheelie bins or 3 box trailer loads.

What's a 3m good for?

Clearing one or two rooms, or a solid garden clean-up. One bathroom renovation fits too, booked as mixed and heavy. Other jobs are in our size guide.

How does it compare with a 2m?

It's the same height and only 600mm longer. So if a 2m fits your driveway or carport, a 3m will too. It holds half as much again for $50 more on general waste.

Should I go up to a 4m?

If a fridge, a lounge or a mattress is going in on top of a general clean-out, yes. The 4m is 800mm longer and another $110 on general waste.

Does it have a drop-down door?

No, there's no door on the 3m.

How heavy can it be?

600kg of general or green waste. 700kg of light construction. 3,000kg of clean fill, concrete and brick, or mixed and heavy.

What does an extra day cost?

An extra day on a 3m is $33, GST included.
