Everyday household rubbish like furniture and packaging. No concrete. No soil. No ceramic tiles. No hardwood. No renovation waste. Book Mixed / Heavy for that. Or Light Construction, if there are no tiles, hardwood, soil, concrete or rolls of carpet and underlay.
Mixed / Heavy
Mix of all of the above. Concrete, bricks, green waste, clean fill, general waste, household clean-ups and renovation rubbish. Ceramic tiles and hardwood accepted. The 8m takes no soil, concrete or besser blocks.
Light Construction
Light waste from building and renovation jobs: timber, plasterboard, flooring, metal and glass. Rubbish from the job is fine. No tiles. No soil. No concrete. No hardwood. No rolls of carpet and underlay.

Which bin for tiles, timber and rubble?

Mixed and heavy. About four in ten bins booked online in Bracken Ridge are mixed and heavy. Mostly the 4m or the 6m. A 4m mixed and heavy bin holds 4,000kg for $660. Step up to the 6m and it's 6,000kg for $860.

What's the usual size for a clean-out?

For general waste, the 4m is the usual pick here, at $470. It's 3.2m long and 0.9m high, so you can still lift rubbish over the side.

Does Brisbane City Council want a permit?

Not for a Shelby bin. It goes on your own property, like your driveway, so there's nothing to apply for.

Is a week's hire enough?

Nearly everyone here has booked the pick-up within the week. Each extra day costs $33 on a 4m or $55 on a 6m.
