Skip bin prices, Brisbane's Northside
Skip bins from Shelby Skips cost $300 to $1,210 for a week's hire, GST included, across Brisbane's northside, Moreton Bay and the Sunshine Coast. The price covers dropping the bin off, picking it up a week later and filling it to its weight limit. We do five sizes from 2m to 8m, and the 4m and 6m also come with a drop-down door.

How much is a light construction bin?
Light construction is for light waste from building and renovation jobs, like timber, plasterboard and flooring. It takes no tiles, soil, concrete, hardwood or rolls of carpet and underlay.
What's the cheapest skip bin?
Our cheapest skip bin is a 2m green waste bin at $300. For household rubbish, it's a 2m general waste bin at $330. It holds about 8 wheelie bins of rubbish, about $41 per wheelie bin. An 8m holds about 32 for $860, about $27 per wheelie bin.
When is mixed and heavy worth it?
Mixed and heavy is worth booking only when your load is a mix, like broken concrete with household rubbish in it. If it's all one material, book that type instead. A 4m of concrete and brick is $470. The same bin as mixed and heavy is $660. A building or renovation load with no tiles, soil, concrete, hardwood or rolls of carpet and underlay costs less as light construction, $590 for a 4m.
What costs extra?
- An extra day is $33 on a 2m, 3m or 4m, and $55 on a 6m or 8m. Door versions cost the same.
- A mattress is $70 each, in any bin. Tell us before delivery.
- Food waste can't go in any bin. If we find some, it's $200 to clean the bin out and dispose of the load.
An overloaded or overweight bin may cost extra. Over the weight limit, general waste and light construction cost $27.50 per 100kg and green waste $16.50 per 100kg, GST included. Each size page, linked in the table, gives its weight limit.
Do you charge more to deliver further away?
No. There's no extra charge for distance anywhere in our area.
When do I pay?
Payment is due before or at delivery, by card, bank transfer or cash.
