Shelby Skips is run by Bentley Express Pty Ltd (ABN 26 647 211 710). This policy explains what personal information we collect and what we do with it. We handle it in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
For any privacy question or request, email help@shelbyskips.au or call 0477 504 502
To take and deliver your booking, collect payment, contact you about your hire, keep business and tax records, improve this website and measure our advertising. We do not sell your personal information.
We do not send marketing emails or texts today. If that changes, we will only do so where the law allows (the Spam Act 2003), every message will have a way to opt out, and you can ask us to stop at any time by emailing help@shelbyskips.au or calling 0477 504 502
These service providers only receive what they need to do their job:
Our web developer helps us run our website and booking system, and can see customer booking details as part of that work. They only use them to keep those systems running.
Our accountant or bookkeeper can see customer details held in our accounting system, Xero.
We will also share your information where the law requires it.
These providers store and process information outside Australia, most likely in the United States, the European Union (including the Netherlands) and Israel. We take reasonable steps to use providers that protect personal information.
We use Google Analytics to see how people find and use this site. We have turned on its advertising features, including Google signals, which can link visits across devices for people signed in to a Google account.
We use Google Ads remarketing to show our ads to people who have visited this website. Google and other third-party vendors use cookies to show those ads on other websites, based on your past visits to our site. Google Ads also tells us when someone taps our phone number or books a bin after clicking an ad.
Microsoft Clarity records how visitors scroll, click and move through our pages. It uses cookies, and Microsoft may use this data as set out in the Microsoft privacy statement.
ClickCease looks at the IP address and device details of people who reach us from a Google ad, to stop fake clicks on our ads.
You can opt out:
We keep booking and payment records for at least five years, because the Australian Taxation Office requires business records to be kept that long. Google Analytics keeps detailed website data for 14 months. When we no longer need personal information, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
We keep your information in password-protected online systems and limit who can see it.
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to fix anything that is wrong. Email or call us and we will reply within 30 days. There is no charge.
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, tell us first using the contact details above and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
We will update this page when the way we handle information changes.
