Dispose of concrete, bricks and roof tiles. No rubbish. Ceramic tiles $100 extra.
General
Everyday household rubbish like furniture and packaging. No concrete. No soil. No ceramic tiles. No hardwood. No renovation waste. Book Mixed / Heavy for that. Or Light Construction, if there are no tiles, hardwood, soil, concrete or rolls of carpet and underlay.
Mixed / Heavy
Mix of all of the above. Concrete, bricks, green waste, clean fill, general waste, household clean-ups and renovation rubbish. Ceramic tiles and hardwood accepted. The 8m takes no soil, concrete or besser blocks.
Light Construction
Light waste from building and renovation jobs: timber, plasterboard, flooring, metal and glass. Rubbish from the job is fine. No tiles. No soil. No concrete. No hardwood. No rolls of carpet and underlay.

We're renovating. Which bin do we book?

Mixed and heavy, if timber or rubbish is in it. In a 6m, that's $860 for up to 6,000kg of concrete, bricks, soil and tiles. The door version is $910 and lets you barrow the load straight in. If it's only concrete and bricks, a 6m concrete and brick bin is $620.

How do I pick a size?

Count roughly how many wheelie bins of rubbish you have. A 3m holds about 12, a 4m about 16, a 6m about 24 and an 8m about 32.

Which bin for broken-up concrete from an old slab?

Concrete and brick. A 4m concrete and brick bin takes up to 4,000kg for $420, against $660 as mixed and heavy.

Will Moreton Bay council ask for a permit?

You won't need one. There's nothing to lodge with the council, because the bin goes on your own property, like your driveway.

How many days do I get?

Seven, counted from delivery day. Keeping a 6m longer adds $55 a day, and a 4m or smaller $33.
