Book a Clean Fill Skip Bin

A clean fill skip bin from Shelby Skips takes uncontaminated soil and dirt only, with no rubbish, debris or plants, though some roots and turf are fine. Four sizes run from $320 for a 2m to $720 for a 6m, GST included (prices last checked 04/10/2026). The bin is yours for a week, delivered and collected anywhere in Brisbane's northside, Moreton Bay and the Sunshine Coast. A 2m takes 2,000kg of soil, and a 6m takes 6,000kg. The drop-down door versions are $450 for a 4m and $770 for a 6m.

Can gravel, rock, clay or sand go in with the soil?

Up to 10% of the load can be gravel or rock, and up to 10% clay and sand.

How do I work out how much soil I have?

Measure the hole: length by width by depth gives cubic metres. Dug soil takes up more room than it did in the ground, so allow extra. Our size guide goes by weight.
